Please note that this Brace Gard is not regular dental wax. It is made from a special dental-grade silicone formed in a long mold-able strip. It can also be cut to accommodate single brackets and other ortho appliances.
Brace Relief Pocket Kit contains 4 large extra-thick rods of Brace Gard orthodontic dental silicone strips, and 1/8 oz tube of analgesic gel.
The Brace Gard Silicone is a totally new concept in bracket protection. It is simply pinched over the offending bracket, pushing material under and behind the bracket, forming a gripping configuration (mechanical retention). You can remove and reapply it, and even mold it across several teeth at once to form a protective mouth guard. It will not "melt" or "crumble" like traditional wax or silicone when you consume hot liquids or hot foods. Our BraceGard is one of the best pain reliever on the market.
The kit also comes with one 1/8 oz antiseptic anesthetic healing gel.
